A day is quickly approaching that many fail to remember as a very important day in the lives of millions of men and women in this country, Veteran’s Day.
Unlike Memorial Day when we pay tribute to our war heroes who died while serving their country, Veteran’s Day gives us a chance to thank all those who have proudly worn the uniform of the various branches of our military. While Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance, Veteran’s Day is a time to celebrate and give thanks.
To the many men and women who were willing to sacrifice everything for our freedom, I say thank you. Thank you for being willing to risk your life so that we might be free from tyranny and oppression. May each of you enjoy all the blessings of liberty, which you have preserved for all of us.
