On Nov. 3, the citizens of Rockingham County will have the opportunity to support our county schools by voting for the local meals tax. The revenues from this tax can only be used for the construction, addition and operation of schools in the county.

In this time of financial shortfall, this is one way to make sure that our schools continue to have the funds necessary to offer quality education for our students. Vote “yes” for the meals tax on Nov. 3.
