Elkton Still Negotiating Purchase Of Well

ELKTON - A well that became the solution to Elkton's water woes back in August still does not belong to the town.
Officials continue to negotiate terms of the land purchase more than two months after the town tapped the Elkwood well to replace a contaminated spring.
The Virginia Department of Health issued a boil advisory for nearly two weeks in mid-August following several tests that revealed high levels of bacteria in one of Elkton's two water sources.
