HARRISONBURG - Dressed as a 1960s hippie, Evie Mongold, 50, of New Market, handed out candy and watched costumed children visit her haunted house set up for Halloween on the Square in downtown Harrisonburg.
Escorted by their parents, children visited the display, along with several downtown businesses to trick-or-treat, as part of Saturday's event.
