HARRISONBURG - A 2009 graduate of Eastern Mennonite University recently received top honors in a speech contest involving competitors from the United States and Canada, EMU officials said in a news release.
According to the release, Laura C. Cattell, of Honey Brook, Pa., won first place in the C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical contest in Akron, Pa.
